Humanitarian Intervention: Development of the Concept and Its Definition. Why Do Western States Intervene?
Abstract:
Abstract:
Humanitarian intervention is a historically and conceptually rich phenomenon. It, however, is not practised consistently even by Western states. This thesis asks after conditions under which Western states do intervene in a country where there is a complex man-made humanitarian catastrophe.
