Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá problematikou zamestnanosti v okrese Detva, v časovom rade. Definuje pojmy ako zamestnanosť, trh práce. Rozoberá metódy zisťovania a vykazovania zamestnanosti a faktory ovplyvňujúce jej vývoj. Analyzuje vývoj zamestnanosti vo vybranom regióne a poukazuje na okolnosti, ktoré k vývoju viedli.
