My BA Thesis is aimed to introduce two current stage plays about the phenomenon called the Bartered Bride played on Czech stages, particularly in the National Theatre of Prague and the National Theatre of Brno. V mojej bakalárskej práci som sa snažila priblížiť dve aktuálne inscenácie fenoménu diela Predanej nevesty na českých javiskách, konkrétne v Národnom divadle Praha a Národnom divadle Brno. Aby som sa oprela o časom overenú tvorbu, na začiatku som uviedla režijné poňatie od režiséra Václava Kašlíka a jeho scénu od Josefa Svobodu.
