Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou územního opatření o stavební uzávěře a územního opatření o asanaci území a jejich postavení v systému nástrojů územního plánování. Práce se věnuje historickému vývoji institutu, analýze jednotlivých typů územních opatření z hlediska jejich obsahových náležitostí, procesu vydávání a vztahu k jiným právním institutům.
