Convergence

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se věnujeme různým konceptům konvergence funkčních posloupností a řad, jejich vlastnostem a vzájemných vztahům. Jako nejdůležitější vlastnost bereme zachování spojitosti jednotlivých členů posloupnosti i pro limitní funkce. Nejdříve se budeme věnovat bodové a stejnoměrné konvergenci. U těchto dvou konvergencí se zabýváme i některými kritérii. Následně je pozornost zaměřena na konvergence získané různým oslabením podmínky stejnoměrné konvergence. V posledních dvou kapitolách jsou pak studovány další typy konvergence mající některé velmi specifické vlastnosti.

Abstract:

In this thesis we study the convergences of functions, their properties and the relationships between them. We consider the preservation of continuity from members of sequence to a limit function as the most important property. At first we discuss pointwise and uniform convergence, showing some convergence criteria for these two convergences. Then we discuss the convergences that can be obtained from uniform convergence by weakening its definition. In the last two chapters we study convergences which have their own specific properties.
