Effects and benefits of physical activity for quality life of child suffering from diabetes mellitus

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou onemocnění diabetes mellitus a využitím fyzické aktivity při léčbě diabetu. Konkrétně zkoumá vliv pohybu na kvalitu života dítěte s diabetem 1. typu. V obecné části je nastíněna historie tohoto onemocnění, dále je zde obsažena stručná definice a klasifikace diabetu. Obecná část také popisuje projevy onemocnění a způsob jeho léčby. Součástí je také stručná charakteristika přidružených komplikacích, a to akutních i chronických. Speciální část obecně zpracovává vliv fyzické aktivity na organismus pacienta. Jsou zde uvedeny zásady provádění fyzické aktivity a také kontraindikace pohybu. Tato část také obsahuje strukturu cvičební jednotky pro pacientku. V hlavní části je na základě vstupního kineziologického rozboru zpracován krátkodobý rehabilitační plán, je zde samotná realizace rehabilitačního plánu včetně navržené cvičební jednotky, a závěr této části tvoří dlouhodobý rehabilitační plán sestavený podle výstupního kineziologického rozboru. V závěru celé bakalářské práce je uvedeno výsledné zhodnocení mé práce.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the problem of the disease diabetes mellitus and the utilization of physical activity in the treatment of diabetes. Specifically examines the impact of movement on the quality of life of a child with type 1. The general part gives an overview of the history of this disease, thereinafter it includes brief definitions and classification of diabetes. The General part also describes the symptoms of the disease and its treatment method. It also included a brief characterization of affiliated complications, namely acute and chronic. A special section generally processes the influence of physical activity on the organism of the patient. The principles of physical activity and contra movement are listed here. This section also contains the structure of exercise units for the patient. The main part processes a short-term rehabilitation plan, which is on the basis of the preliminary kinesiological analysis, there is the implementation of the rehabilitation plan by itself, including the exercise unit, and the conclusion of this section consists of a long-term rehabilitation plan drawn up by the output kinesiological analysis. The end of the whole bachelor thesis indicate the final evaluation of my work.
