Czech literature in the artistic life of Soňa Červená since the turn of the XX. and XXI. century

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá českou literaturou v uměleckém světě Soni Červené, jejíž osobnost je hlavním jednotícím prvkem práce. Ta se zaměřuje zejména na čtyři poslední nejvýraznější role světově známé operní pěvkyně a herečky na prknech Národního divadla v Praze. Text se omezuje na období vymezené současným stoletím. Autor se prostřednictvím čtení beletristických textů, analýz divadelních libret, rozhovorů a audiovizuálních dokumentů snaží najít hlavní motivy linoucí se uměleckým životem Červené, hledá styčné body mezi motivy divadelních libret a životem herečky. Autor textu si také pokládá otázku, jakým dílem Soňa Červená přispěla do literárního a divadelního světa od počátku 21. století, za jakými impulsy stojí.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with Czech literature in the art world of Soňa Červená, whose personality is the main unified element of the thesis. It focuses on the four most recent roles world-famous opera singer and actress at the National Theatre in Prague. The text is limited to a period defined by the current century. The author through reading literary texts, analysing of theater librettos, through interviews and audiovisual documents trying to find the main themes emanating of Červená artistic life, looking for points of contact between the librettos, theatrical motives and life of actress. The author of the text also raises the question to what part Soňa Červená contributed to the literary and theatrical world of the early 21st century, for such impulses she is standing.
