Elbow joint biomechanics during push ups in different hand position

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bylo zjistit, zda rozdílné postavení rukou při kliku ve vzporu ležmo, bude mít vliv na biomechaniku loketního a zápěstního kloubu. Subjektem výzkumu byli tři muži odlišného somatotypu v průměrném věku 22 let, kteří aktivně navštěvují posilovnu. Zkoumané subjekty provedly tři platné pokusy na obě horní končetiny při třech pozicích rukou na podložce. Pro výzkum byly použity silové plošiny Kistler se systémem pro kinematickou analýzu. V systému Visual3D proběhla analýza dat. Rozdíly středních hodnot indexem velikosti vlivu (Effect size). Zjistilo se, že při T-postavení jsou nejnižší vertikální reakční síly a zároveň nejnižší hodnoty kompresní síly při flexi a extenzi v zápěstí. T-postavení je teda nejšetrnější technika vzhledem k prevenci zranění. Nejvyšší hodnoty vertikální reakční síly a kompresních sil v loketním kloubu a zápěstí byly zjištěny u reversního postavení.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find if different positions of hands in press-up can affect biomechanics of elbow and wrist joint. The subjects of the research were 3 men of different somatotypes in the average age of 22 years, who actively go to the gym. Researched subjects made three valid experiments to both upper limbs at three positions of the hands on the mat. For this research were used force platforms Kistler with the system for kinematic analysis. Data analysis were compiled in the system Visual3D. The differences of middle values by the influence of the size index (Effect size). It was found that if at the T-position is the lowest vertical reaction force and the lowest value of the compression force during flexion and extension of the wrist. T-position is the most gentle technology due to prevent injuries. The highest values of the vertical reaction forces and compressive forces in the elbow and wrist joints were found in the reverse position.
