The Nursing process in care of a pregnant woman with preeclampsia

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis on the topic of "The Nursing process in care of a pregnant woman with preeclampsia" is focused on a nursing process for one specific client with preeclampsia. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical part and practical part and the objective is the formulation of a suitable plan of a nursing care that could serve as a pattern for midwives in practice. The theoretical part contains the definition of preeclampsia, its risk factors and clinical signs, the classification, ethiology and diagnostics. It is also focused on prevention, screening, treatment and possible complications, and consecutive management of the illness during labour and in the postpartal period. In the practical part of the thesis, the casuistry of the woman with preeclampsia hospitalised at the department od gynecology and obstetrics is processed. The plan of the nursing care was based on the information gained from the medical records, the client herself and also from the medical staff. The diagnostic system NANDA International was used for formulation of the nursing process, including the nursing diagnoses.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca na tému "Ošetrovateľský proces v starostlivosti o tehotnú ženu s preeklampsiou" je zameraná na ošetrovateľský proces u jednej konkrétnej klientky s preeklampsiou. Bakalárska práca je rozdelená na časť teoretickú a časť praktickú, a jej cieľom je vypracovanie vhodného plánu ošetrovateľskej starostlivosti o túto ženu, ktorý by mohol slúžiť ako vzor pre pôrodné asistentky v praxi. Teoretická časť zahŕňa definíciu preeklampsie, jej rizikové faktory a klinický obraz, klasifikáciu, etiológiu a diagnostiku. Tiež sa zameriava na prevenciu, screening, liečbu a možné komplikácie, a následný manažment ochorenia počas pôrodu a v popôrodnom období. V praktickej časti práce je spracovaná kazuistika ženy s preeklampsiou hospitalizovanej na gynekologicko-pôrodníckej klinike. Na základe informácií získaných zo zdravotníckej dokumentácie, samotnej klientky a tiež od zdravotníckeho personálu bol zostavený plán ošetrovateľskej starostlivosti. Na vypracovanie ošetrovateľského procesu, vrátane ošetrovateľských diagnóz, bol použitý diagnostický systém NANDA International.
