Koloniálne väzby a zahraničný obchod: prípad Španielska

Colonial ties and foreign trade: the case of Spain
Abstract:
The purpose of this thesis is to determine whether colonial relationship had effect on trade ties that existed between Spain and its last three colonies, Cuba, the Philippines and Puerto Rico. The empirical analysis of the impacts was conducted by constructing a gravity model of international trade using the PPML estimator. Účelom tejto diplomovej práce je zistiť, či koloniálne vzťahy mali dopad na obchodné väzby medzi Španielskom a jeho poslednými troma kolóniami, Kubou, Filipínami a Portorikom. Empirický rozbor dopadov prebehol na základe zostrojeného gravitačného modelu zahraničného obchodu s využitím PPML estimátora.
