Corset and the Secret of Wardrobe

Abstract:

V této bakalárské práci se venuji historickému odívání v období 19. století. Téma jsem si volila podle svých zájmu. Vzhledem k tomu, že se zajímám o viktoriánské odívání, je tato práce pro mne dobrým sebevyjádrením. V teoretické cásti se zabývám nejen historií a etiketou drívejší doby, ale také svými zkušenostmi s dobovým odíváním dnes. Tato práce je doplnena o mé poznatky a praktické zkušenosti s nošením a šitím odevu. Hlavní cást této práce však je tvorena praktickou cástí na téma korzet a tajemství šatníku. Na toto mnou zvolené téma byla vypracována série kreseb, vytvorených kombinovanou technikou. Jednotlivé kresby charakterizují cásti odevu v daném historickém období.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with historical clothing in 19th century. The topic was chosen due to my interests. This Thesis is good self-expression of mine, whereas I study Victorian clothing actively. Theoretical part deals with history and etiquette not only, but with my historical dresses wearing experiences in present time also. My knowledge and practices about historical dresses sewing are attached. Main part of this Thesis includes ? Practical part ? series of painting according to theme: ?Corset and the Secret of the Wardrobe?. Combined art was used for painting. Each paint characterizes clothing parts for describing era.
