Teoretická část popisuje historii a vývoj aloplastik, anatomii kyčelního kloubu, typy endoprotéz, indikace k operačnímu výkonu, předoperační přípravu, pooperační průběh, rehabilitační péči a informovanost z hlediska klienta. Empirická část je zaměřena na informovanost o rehabilitačním režimu u klientů s TEP kyčelního kloubu. Dotazníkovým šetřením bylo zjištěno, zda a do jaké míry jsou pacienti spokojeni se získanými informacemi a jak jsou informování o pohybovém režimu a potenciálních komplikacích po implantaci kyčelního kloubu.

The theoretical part describes the history and development of alloplasty, anatomy of a hip joint, types of joint prostheses, indications for implantation execution, pre-operative preparation, postoperative progress, rehabilitative care and knowledgeableness from the client’s viewpoint. The empirical part is focused on knowledgeableness of patients after a total hip arthroplasty about rehabilitative regime. Using the questionnaire, it was found out whether and to what extent are the patients informed about movement regime and potential complications following a hip joint replacement.
