Concept of Quality in Teaching Profession

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je rozdělena na dvě části, na teoretickou a praktickou část. Cílem teoretické části je nastínit profesi učitele. Zaměřila jsem se na osobnost učitele, jeho role ve vyučování, vyučovací styly v kontextu typologie osobnosti a přípravu učitelů na budoucí povolání. Dále jsem se zabývala profesními kompetencemi učitele a didaktickými znalostmi a dovednostmi. Z hlediska praktické části jsem popisovala kvalitu učitele a profesní standard. V praktické části jsem zkoumala míru srozumitelnosti a míru významu profesních kvalit učitele v učitelském povolání.

Abstract:

The thesis is divided into two parts, teoretical and practical. The theoretical part is to outline the profession of a teacher. I focused on the personality of the teacher´s role in teaching, teaching style in the context of personality typology and teacher training for future employment. Then i dealt with professional competence of teachers and didactic knowledge and skills. Due to the practival part, I described teacher quality and professional standard. In the practical part, I examined the degree of clarity and level of inportance of professional qualities of teachers in the teaching profession.
