Social Integration of Clients in Fokus Association for Mental Health Care Ústí nad Labem Focusing on Labour Market Job Opportunities

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je analýza přínosu chráněných dílen sdružení Fokus Ústí nad Labem pro osoby dlouhodobě duševně nemocné v rámci sociální integrace se zaměřením na pracovní příležitosti na trhu práce. Ke zjištění informací jsem použila rozhovory uskutečněné s klienty chráněných dílen a jejich odbornými mistry, poznatky získané během mé praxe ve sdružení Fokus Ústí nad Labem a údaje z interních dokumentů Fokus Ústí nad Labem. V úvodu práce jsem vymezila základní pojmy spojené se zaměstnáváním lidí s duševním onemocněním v chráněných dílnách společně s pojmem sociální integrace. Dále jsem se zabývala sdružením Fokus Ústí nad Labem, možnostmi, které pro své klienty nabízí a do jaké míry zasahuje do životů klientů v rámci jejich sociální integrace. Vyhodnocením získaných informací jsem dospěla k závěru, že chráněné dílny velmi podstatně ovlivňují život klientů zejména tím, že díky sociální a pracovní rehabilitaci se klienti znovu adaptují na plnohodnotný život. V závěru práce jsem nastínila další možnost rozšíření pracovního uplatnění těchto klientů prostřednictvím sociální firmy.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the contribution of protected workshops of the Fokus Usti nad Labem Association for the long-term mentally ill persons in the range of social integration, focusing on their opportunities in the labor market. To determine the information I used the interviews undertaken with clients of protected workshops and their professional masters, the findings gained during my practise in the Fokus Usti nad Labem Association and the data from internal documents of Fokus Usti nad Labem. At the beginning of this thesis, I defined the basic terms connected to employment of people with mental illness in protected workshops, together with the concept of social integration. Next, I considered the Fokus Ústí nad Labem Association, the options offered to its clients and the fact to which extend it interfes with the lives of clients within their social integration. Evaluating the information gathered, I concluded that protected workshops very much affect the lives of their clients, in particular by the fact that due to social and vocational rehabilitation, the clients re-adapt to a full-value life. At the end of the work I outlined the possibility of further extending of these clients? work through the social firms.
