Social Work with Bereaved in Hospices

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá prací sociálních pracovníků s pozůstalými v hospicích.Teoretická část práce popisuje hospic a zaměstnance hospice. Dále je zde představena role sociálního pracovníka, nejprve obecně, pak konkrétně role sociálního pracovníka v hospici. Práce obsahuje popis procesu truchlení včetně jeho fází. Je zde podrobně také vysvětlen průběh vyrovnávání se se ztrátou. Nedílnou součástí práce je kapitola o poradenství pro pozůstalé. V metodologické části práce je popsána kvalitativní výzkumná strategie, jelikož právě ta je u této práce zvolena. Dále je uvedena operacionalizace, technika sběru dat, jednotka zjišťování a průběh výzkumu. Poslední část práce je zaměřena na analýzu a interpretaci získaných dat, která poskytuje informace o názorech sociálních pracovníků na práci s pozůstalými v rámci jejich hospice. Závěr práce je věnován zodpovězení hlavní výzkumné otázky pomocí odpovědí na dílčí výzkumné otázky.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with how social workers work with the bereaved in hospices. The theoretical part describes hospices and hospice´s staff. There is also presented the role of social worker, first in general, then more specifically - the role of social worker in a hospice. This thesis contains a description of the mourning process, including his stages. There is also explained the progress of coping with loss. An integral part of the work is the part of counselling for bereavement. In the methodological part is described the qualitative research strategy, because this is used for this paper. Below is operationalization, data collection technique, observation unit during the research process. The last part is focused on an analyzing and the interpretation of the data that provides the information about the views of social workers to work with survivors in their hospice. The conclusion is devoted to answer the main research questions using the answers to the component research questions.
