Education system of pupils with chronic diseases at school organized by hospital

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce zpracovává téma chronického onemocnění u dětí se zaměřením na vliv tohoto onemocnění na jejich vzdělávání a život. Druhým hlavním objektem zájmu práce jsou specifika vzdělávání žáků v základní škole při zdravotnickém zařízení. Teoretická část práce se skládá ze dvou kapitol. První kapitola vymezuje základní pojmy jako je chronické onemocnění a nemoc. V další části kapitoly pojednává o třech vybraných chronických onemocněních, jako jsou nefrotický syndrom ledvin, diabetes mellitus I. typu a chronická bolest břicha. Závěr první kapitoly je určen vlivu nemoci na kvalitu života žáka s chronickým onemocněním. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na edukační systém žáků s chronickým a závažným onemocněním. V jednotlivých podkapitolách popisuje možnosti vzdělávání, legislativní opatření a specifika individuálního vzdělávacího plánu. Poslední část je věnována využití rodinné terapie. Třetí, výzkumná kapitola, obsahuje charakteristiku výzkumného šetření, hlavní cíl, výzkumné otázky a použitou metodologii, charakteristiku výzkumného prostředí a vzorku. Dalšími částmi jsou tři případové studie, anketní šetření, které je vyhodnoceno v grafech a závěry výzkumného šetření. Výzkumné šetření je zpracováno metodou kvalitativního výzkumu s použitím technik polostrukturovaného rozhovoru, participačního pozorování a případových studií.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the chronic diseases of children. It focuses on the influence of these diseases on children´s education and life. The second main object of the interest is the specification of the education system at school which is organized by the hospital. The theoretical part consists of two chapters. The first chapter defines basic points, such as the chronic disease and the illness. Another part of the Bachelor thesis is about three particular chronic diseases, which are the nephritic kidney syndrome, diabetes mellitus and chronic stomach ache. The conclusion of the first chapter is about the influence of the illness on the pupil´s life. The second chapter focuses on the education system of the pupils with the chronic diseases. The particular parts describe possibilities of the education, the legislation and the specification of the individual educating. The last part deals with the use of family therapy. The research chapter includes description of the research, the main aim, research questions and methodology, also description of the research surroundings and sample. The next parts are three case studies, the survey, diagrams and the conclusion of the research. In the research was used the method of qualitative research and these techniques: half-structured interview, participatory observation and case study.
