The power rise of Germany in the 1930s and its consequences for Central Europe

Abstract:

VARGOVA, Laura. The power rise of Germany in the 1930s and its consequences for Central Europe. [Bachelor’s Dissertation] University College Prague – College of International Relations and Institute of Hospitality Management and Economics Ltd. Bratislava: 2023. 49 pp. The aim of the presented final thesis is to bring closer the power rise of Germany during the 1930s and to point out the consequences of Germany's power expansion for Central Europe. The work is divided into three chapters. The first of them discusses the most important events of the interwar period, namely the German Empire, the end of the First World War, the Weimar Republic and also the Versailles Peace Treaty. The second chapter discusses in more detail the rise to power of Nazi Germany, including the causes of the rise of Nazism and Adolf Hitler's rise to power. The third chapter analyzes the situation after the rise of Germany and, above all, the consequences that this rise brought to the countries of Central Europe.

VARGOVÁ, Laura. Mocenský vzostup Nemecka v 30. rokoch a jeho dôsledky pre strednú Európu. [Bakalárska práca] University College Prague – Vysoká škola mezinárodních vztahů a Vysoká škola hotelová a ekonomická s.r.o. Bratislava: 2023. 49 str. Cieľom predloženej záverečnej práce je priblížiť mocenský vzostup Nemecka počas 30. rokov minulého storočia a poukázať na dôsledky mocenskej expanzie Nemecka pre strednú Európu. Práca je rozdelená do troch kapitol. Prvá z nich pojednáva o najdôležitejších udalostiach medzivojnového obdobia, a to Nemeckom cisárstve, konci prvej svetovej vojny, Weimarskej republiky a taktiež Versaillskej mierovej zmluve. Druhá kapitola podrobnejšie rozoberá mocenský vzostup nacistického Nemecka, vrátane príčin rozmachu nacizmu a nástupu Adolfa Hitlera k moci. Tretia kapitola analyzuje situáciu po vzostupe Nemecka a predovšetkým dôsledky, aké tento vzostup priniesol do krajín strednej Európy.
