Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce analyzuje veřejnou debatu o uvedení seriálu Třicet případů majora Zemana v České televizi po roce 1989. Seriál měl sloužit k propagaci práce bezpečnostních složek komunistického režimu. Seriál byl poprvé vysílán v televizi v letech 1976-1980, a poté ještě několikrát reprízován. V roce 1996 se v médiích objevily informace, že soukromá televize TV Premiéra plánuje vysílání seriálu Třicet případů majora Zemana. Následně probíhala v médiích veřejná debata ohledně vhodnosti vysílání seriálu. Později začalo o vysílání seriálu uvažovat vedení České televize. Nakonec bylo učiněno rozhodnutí, že seriál se v ČT bude vysílat. Cílem bylo pomoci k vyrovnání se s komunistickou minulostí. Tato práce analyzuje články, které se zabývaly vysíláním seriálu v České televizi nebo seriálem samotným. Předmětem analýzy jsou všechny články, které v letech 1996 až 1999 vyšly v celostátním tisku. Metodou analýzy byla zvolena kritická diskurzivní analýza Normana Fairclougha. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jak byly v tisku prezentovány postoje ve společnosti k vysílání seriálu v televizi.

Abstract:

This thesis analyzes the public debate about broadcasting the series “Thirty Cases of Major Zeman” in the Czech Television after 1989. The Series was intended to promote the work of the security forces of the communist regime. The series was first aired on television in the years 1976-1980; followed by several repetitions. In 1996 was published the first information that the private television TV Premiera plans to broadcast series “Thirty Cases of Major Zeman”. Then it was started the public debate about the appropriateness of broadcasting the series. Then the management of Czech Television began considering the broadcast of the series. The reason for this decision was to help to reconciliation with the communist past. This thesis analyzes the articles that reported on the series broadcast on Czech TV and articles that inform the series itself. Analyzing all the articles published from 1996 until 1999 in national press. Like a method was chosen critical discourse analysis by Norman Fairclough. The aim of the thesis is to determine how print media presented public opinion to broadcast the series.
