The Evolution of the Death Penalty in Our Law

Anotácia:

Tato práce se detailně zabývá trestem smrti. První kapitola tuto problematiku upravuje obecně. Nalezneme zde vysvětlení toho, co je trest jeho účel a funkci. Druhá kapitola popisuje historický vývoj trestu smrti, dále pak vnitrostátní, mezinárodní a evropskou úpravu. Třetí kapitola rozebírá jednotlivé způsoby vykonání trestu smrti. Čtvrtá kapitola pojednává o argumentech trestu smrti. Stěžejní část poslední kapitoly, která je věnována justičním vraždám.

Abstract:

This work deals with the death penalty. The first chapter of this issue provides generally. Here we find an explanation of what the penalty is its purpose and function. The second chapter describes the historical development of the death penalty, as well as national, international and european regulation. The third chapter discusses the different methods of capital punishment. The fourth chapter discusses the arguments of the death penalty. The main part of the last chapter, which is devoted to judicial killings.
