Abstract:
Lýkožrout smrkový (Ips typographus) je nejvýznamnější škůdce smrkových (Picea abies) porostů. Při kolonizaci hostitelského stromu samci produkují agregační feromon, který láká další brouky obou pohlaví. Feromon je tvořen ve střevech samců a faktory, které tvorbu ovlivňují, nejsou zcela objasněny. European spruce bark beetle (Ips typographus) is the most important pest of spruce (Picea abies) forests. When colonizing the host tree, males produce an agregation pheromone that attract other conspecifics to join the attack. The factors that affect production are not fully understood.
