A biopsy of the liver and the lung under CT control

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na biopsii jater a plic pod CT kontrolou. Celá práce je rozdělena do části teoretické a praktické. V teoretické se zabývám anatomií obou orgánů, definuji pojem biopsie pod CT kontrolou a přináším povědomí o jejím historickém vývoji spolu se srovnáním kontroly CT s ostatními zobrazovacími metodami. Dále se zaobírám přípravou ať už pacienta, tak instrumentária a samotným průběhem biopsie. Zmiňuji možná rizika a komplikace, které mohou nastat během výkonu. V neposlední řadě popisuji úlohu radiologického asistenta a zdravotní sestry. Cílem praktické části je vyhodnocení a srovnání radiační zátěže, počtu a typu komplikací vzniklých v průběhu výkonu, časové výtěžnosti a polohování pacientů. Na závěr uvádím nejčastěji stanovené diagnózy na základě bioptického odběru a následného laboratorního vyhodnocení.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the biopsy of the liver and the lung under CT control. The whole work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part concerns the anatomy of both organs, defines the term biopsy under CT control and brings awareness to the historical development and comparison studies of biopsy under CT control together with other modern imaging modalities. Furthermore, it focuses on the preparation of both the patient and the instrumentation before engaging in the actual biopsy procedure. Possibly risks and complications, which could occur during the procedure, are also outlined. Finally, this part describes radiology assistant and nurse assignments. The aim of the practical part is the evaluation and comparison of the liver and the lung biopsy procedures based on the radiation dose, the number and type of complications arising during the biopsy, the time yield and the position of the patients. Lastly, the most frequently diagnosed diseases based on biopsy sampling and laboratory examinations are mentioned.
