Impact of deeply grounded buildings to groundwater - Southern Center are in Brno city

Abstract:

The purpose of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the impact of projected structures on the groundwater flow in the Southern center in Brno. The Southern Center is located between Trnitá, Opuštěná, Plotní and Dornych streets. A numerical model was constructed to evaluate the impact of structures. As a basis for the creation of the numerical model, the drilling documentation of the environment of interest was compiled. The model was created in the Processing Modflow X program. A total of three variants were created; the first variant shows the situation without construction, the second variant accounts for the projected structures B1 and B2, which are connected into one construction pit. The third variant shows the situation with all the projected structures. The output from the numerical model is a map of the hydroisohyps of each variant separately, as well as two hydrogeological sections showing the groundwater level before and after the planned construction. From the map of equipotential lines it is clear that the direction of groundwater flow is in the direction NNE - SSW. Thanks to the model, it is possible to conclude that the designed structures will cause the groundwater level to swell, which may lead to complications in the future. This increase will be the highest in variant 3 on the NNW side of the project building C, where it reached up to 0,219 m in the modeled situation, as well as on the northern side of building B2, where it reached 0,152 m. For variant 2, the highest increase on the inlet side will be 0,143 m. The mentioned complications can occur during the construction of other nearby buildings, the construction of large underground structures, etc.

Abstract:

Úlohou této diplomové práce je zhodnocení vlivu projektovaných staveb na režim proudění podzemní vody na území Jižního centra v Brně. Jižní Centrum se nachází mezi ulicemi Trnitá, Opuštěná, Plotní a Dornych. Pro zhodnocení vlivu budov byl sestaven numerický model. Jako základ pro vytvoření numerického modelu byla zpracovaná vrtná dokumentace zájmového území. Zájmové území je tvořeno budovami s označením B1, B2 a C, které se nachází v sv. části modelované oblasti. Model byl vytvořen v programu Processing Modflow X. Pro komplex budov Opuštěná-Trnitá byly vytvořeny celkem tři varianty, přičemž první varianta zobrazuje situaci bez zástavby, druhá varianta počítá s projektovanými budovami B1 a B2, které jsou spojené do jedné stavební jámy. Třetí varianta znázorňuje situaci se všemi naprojektovanými budovami. Výstup z numerického modelu je mapa hydroizohyps pro každou variantu zvlášť a také dva hydrogeologické řezy, které znázorňují stav hladiny podzemní vody před plánovanou výstavbou a po ní. Z map hydroizohyps je zřejmé, že směr proudění podzemní vody je ve směru SV – JZ. Díky modelu je možné říct, že projektované stavby způsobí ve variantě 2 i 3 zvýšení hladiny podzemní vody, což může v budoucnu vést ke komplikacím. Toto zvýšení bude nejvyšší ve variantě 3 na ssz. straně projektovanej budovy C, kde dosáhlo v modelované situaci až 0,219 m, rovněž i na severní straně budovy B2, kde dosáhlo 0,152 m. Co se týče varianty 2, nejvyšší zvýšení na nátokové straně bude o 0,143 m. Zmíněné komplikace mohou nastat při výstavbě dalších blízkých budov, výstavby rozsáhlých podzemních staveb aj.
