Supplier Quality Project with the Focus on Application of SMED Method in the selected Company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se specializuje na snížení blokovaných dodavatelských kusů na vstupní kontrole kvality v závislosti na snížení doby přetypování na konkrétním stroji. K tomu slouží metody průmyslového inženýrství, jejichž literární rešerše se zabývá v teoretické části diplomové práce. Zvolený problém byl řešen metodikou DMAIC. Konkrétně problém zvyšujících se dodavatelských bloků byl podroben administrativnímu VSM a dlouhých výměn na stroji byl podroben metodě SMED, jež výrazně snižuje časy výrobního zařízení. V projektové části bylo navrženo několik zlepšení, jak pro dodavatelskou kvalitu, tak i pro přestavbu na stroji. Z pohledu dodavatelské kvality je potřeba zastřešení problematiky zaměstnancem SQE a z hlediska metody SMED je zapotřebí zajistit novou pracovní pozici "upínač" včetně několika úprav během upínání odlitku. Posléze lze realizovat navržený nový jízdní řád. Výsledky tohoto projektu umožňuje snížení doby seřízení a snížení dodavatelských bloků zachycené na vstupní kontrole kvality. Projekt je vhodným podkladem pro transformaci na ostatní stroje.

Abstract:

The thesis specializes in the reduction of blocked supply pieces on input quality control depending on the reduction of time on a particular machine. Industrial Engineering methods are used for this purpose and their literary research deals with the theoretical part of the thesis. The chosen problem was solved by DMAIC methodology. Specifically, the problem of increasing supply blocks has been subjected to administrative VSM and long exchange time of machine have been subjected to the SMED method, which significantly reduces production machine times. Several improvements have been proposed in the project part, both for supplier quality and for machine restructuring. From the supplier quality point of view, it isnecessary to cover the issue with the SQE employee and in terms of the SMED method it is necessary to provide a new working position "upínač" including several adjustments during the casting clamping. Subsequently, the proposed new timetable can be implemented. The results of this project allow for a reduction in the set-up and reduction of supply blocks captured in the input quality control. The project is a good basis for transformation to other machine.
