Karel Engliš vynikal v mnoha oborech, prosadil se a působil na nejrůznějších významných a důležitých místech, a to jak na Moravě, tak i v Praze. Pracoval jako ekonom, státník, filosof, ale především byl profesorem a význačným pedagogem. Karel Engliš excelled in many fields, he distinguished himself in many positions of great importance not only in Moravia but in Prague as well. He worked as an economist, statesman, philosopher but he was above all a professor and an excellent pedagogue.
