Anarchopunk emerged in the 1980s as a subgenre of Punk rock that blended Punk's anti-establishment attitude with anarchist political ideals. Anarchopunk se začal objevovat v 80. letech 19. století jako sub žánru punk rocku, který spojil anti-establishmentový přístup s anarchistickými ideály. Na rozdíl od klasického punku, který se často soustředil na osobní projev a individuální revoltu, se texty anarchopunkových kapel obvykle zabývaly širšími společenskými a politickými problémy.
