Diplomová práce se zabývá průmyslovou sběrnicí FOUNDATION Fieldbus. Popisuje komunikační model sběrnice od přenosu dat přes fyzické médium až po vytváření řídících smyček v uživatelské vrstvě. Hlavním cílem práce je vytvoření komunikačního modulu pro tuto sběrnici. Zabývá se jak hardwarovým tak softwarovým návrhem a implementací. This thesis describes the FOUNDATION Fieldbus system. It gives a summary of a communication model of this fieldbus from data transmission using a physical medium to create a~control loops in the user layer.
