Tato práca sa bude zaoberať imerziou a jej základnými rysmi, jej prítomnosťou ve videohrách, konkrétne hrách hororového žánru, a to ako nezávislej, tak aj profesionálnej vývojárskej scény. V práci sa pokúsime imerziu definovať a načrtneme typológiu imerzie s odkazom na existujúcu literatúru.
