Tématem této diplomové práce je prostorová analýza volební podpory kandidátů ve volebních obvodech Benešov, Chomutov a Vsetín ve volbách do Senátu PČR v roce 2012. Data jsou agregována na úrovni obcí. V práci je popsána organizace senátních voleb a představeny jsou celkové volební výsledky z roku 2012, které jsou posouzeny z hlediska konceptu voleb druhého řádu. The diploma thesis deals with the spatial analysis of electoral support of candidates in constituencies Benesov, Chomutov and Vsetin, in the elections to the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in 2012.
