Flexible regression modelling in longitudinal studies
Abstract:
V této diplomové práci se věnujeme aditivním modelům. Nejprve jsou podrobně popsány aditivní modely pro nezávislá data. Následně jsou zkoumány možnosti jejich rozšíření pro longitudinální data s využitím zobecněných odhadovacích rovnic. Zabýváme se také otázkou, jak postupovat v případě neúplné hodnosti regresní matice. V praktické části práce jsou uvedené poznatky aplikovány při modelování CD4 trajektorií …more
Abstract:
In this thesis we study additive models. At first the theoretical background of additive models for independent data is presented. In the second part of this work we focus on expansion of additive models for longitudinal data using generalized estimating equations. Introduced methods are then applied in modelling CD4 cell counts for HIV positive patients.
