Cell nuclei segmentation by ellipse fitting
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to implement and test a cell nuclei segmentation algorithm based on concave points detection and ellipse fitting, which was published in [1]. Various modifications are done in my implementation in order to achieve better results with used data. All of these modifications are described in the thesis.
Abstract:
Cieľom tejto práce je implementovať a otestovať algoritmus na segmentáciu bunkových jadier, ktorý je založený na vyhľadávaní konkávnych bodov a vpisovaní elíps. Tento algoritmus bol publikovaný v článku [1]. Vo svojej implementácii sa dopúšťam rôznych modifikácii s cieľom dosiahnutia lepších výsledkov na dátach, ktoré som mal k dispozícii. Všetky prevedené úpravy sú opísane v texte práce.
