Utilization of terahertz waves in the security community

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci se student seznámí s problematikou využití terahertzového vlnění v bezpečnostní komunitě. Práce se věnuje principu terahertzových systémů a sleduje možnosti jejich využití v každodenních aplikacích. V úvodu se práce nejprve zabývá elektromagnetickým spektrem, dále pak vlastnostmi, možným využitím a umělými zdroji terahertzového vlnění. V druhé části se práce zabývá problematikou aplikace terahertzového vlnění do bezpečnostních aplikací jak z technického, tak i legislativního hlediska. Práce se dále věnuje novým perspektivním trendům v dané oblasti.

Abstract:

In the thesis, the student will learn to use the issue terahertz waves in security community. Thesis attend to the principle of terahertz systems and monitors their possible use in everyday applications. In the introduction the work dealing with the electromagnetic spectrum, then properties and potential use of artificial sources of terahertz waves. In the second part the work follow application of terahertz waves in security applications, both technical and legislative aspects. Work is also dedicated to new promising trends in the field.
