Extreme right politics in Ústí nad Labem region

Abstract:

Tato bakalářské práce je zaměřena na problematiku pravicového extremismu v České republice, zejména v Ústeckém kraji. V teoretické části práce se zabývám především charakterizováním základních pojmů spojených s pravicovým extremismem, jeho historickými kořeny a rozlišením současné krajní pravice. V další části je představena současná pravicově extremistická scéna v České republice se zaměřením na Ústecký kraj. Dále byly zmapovány aktivity krajní pravice v tomto kraji, konkrétně střety s opozičními hnutími a Policií ČR. Poslední kapitola teoretické části se věnuje mládeži jakožto subjektu pravicového extremismu a možným příčinám inklinace k pravicově extremistickým hnutím. Praktická část práce je tvořena kvantitativním výzkumem, který si klade za cíl analyzovat názory a postoje středoškolské mládeže k pravicovému extremismu.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the issues connected to right-wing political extremism in Czech republic, especially in the Ústí nad Labem region. The theoretical part of the thesis is mostly concerned on basic terms connected with right-wing extremism, its historical origins and definiton of up to date rightwing politics. In the next part of the thesis do I present the up to date right-wing political scene in the Czech republic aiming on region Ústí nad Labem. I also map the activities of right-wing political organisations in this region, expecially conflicts with oposing movements and state Police. The last part of the thesis is focused on the youth as a subject of right-wing extremism and on possible causes of their inclination to extremist momements and organisations. The practical part of the thesis consists of quantitative research, whose goal is to analyze opinions and attitudes of secondary school students about right-wing extremism.
