The Church Net Topography in the Pilsen's Deanery until the Hussite Age

Abstract:

Tato práce se na základě rozboru úředních knih z prostředí pražského arcibiskupství a dalších pramenů snaží analyzovat strukturu a vývoj farní sítě na území plzeňského děkanátu od jejích počátků do doby husitské. Po vymezení prostoru plzeňského děkanátu se pokouší nastínit dynamiku procesu vzniku farní organizace na území tohoto církevně-správního celku. Jádro práce pak tvoří jakýsi katalog farních beneficií, kde jsou zpracovány všechny relevantní informace, které se podařilo v pramenech nalézt; to lze chápat částečně jako příspěvek k církevní topografii Plzeňska a současně také jako rozbor nutný pro následné shrnutí. To je poté tvořeno několika tematickými okruhy, které se snaží dát odpovědi na některé otázky týkající se patronátního práva, farního kléru, hmotného zabezpečení beneficií a vlivu resp. zásahům papežské kurie na fungování děkanátu. Součástí je také rozsáhlá tabulková příloha, kde jsou přehledně shrnuty informace o každém farním beneficiu.

Abstract:

This thesis tries to analyze the structure and the developement of church´s net on the area of Pilsen´s deanery from it´s beginnings until the Hussite age. After specifying the space of Pilsen´s deanery is trying to outline the dynamics and the beginnings of parish organization in this church-administrative unit. The center of this thesis then form the catalog of parish beneficies, where they are processed all relevant informations, that has been found in the sources; it can be understood both as a contribution to the church topography of Pilsen and at the same time as necessary for the following summary. It is then composed of several thematic areas, which try to give answers to some questions about the right of patronage, parish clergy, financial backgrounds of the beneficies and the influence of papal curia. It also includes extensive tabular supplement, which summarizes the informations about each parish benefice.
