Informal learning strategies of bicycle mechanics

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je popsat informální učením u mechaniků jízdních kol, kterým nabývají své odborné vědomosti a dovednosti. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, a to teoretickou a empirickou. V teoretické části je představen koncept informálního učení na pozadí dokumentů vzdělávací politiky a následně i teoretických úvah a empirických výzkumů. Dále jsou zde popsány strategie informálního učení a na závěr problematika práce mechaniků jízdních kol v souvislosti s možnostmi jejich formálního a neformálního vzdělávání. Empirická část práce se věnuje vlastnímu výzkumu. Popisuje jeho celkový průběh od hlavní výzkumné otázky, přes zvolený design výzkumu, až po analýzu a interpretaci dat.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze informal learning among bicycle mechanics as the way how they acquire their expertise knowledge and skills. This diploma thesis is dividend into two parts, theoretical and empirical. In the theoretical part the concept of informal learning is introduced on a background of education policy and then based on theoretical reflections and empirical research. In the next chapter strategies of informal learning are described. Finally the problematics of a job of bicycle mechanics related to the possibilities of their formal and non-formal education is discussed. Empirical part is focused on the research. It describes overall process from the main research question and design to the analysis and interpretation of data.
