The changes of male role in European culture

Abstract:

Práce se zaobírá fenoménem proměn rolí muže v evropském, respektive euroatlantickém prostředí. Přináší různé pohledy na vývoj rodiny se zaměřením na období od 18. století až do dnešních dnů a následně navazuje popisem vývoje postavení muže a ženy v ní. V souvztažnosti k předešlému se pak zabývá i vývojem uspořádání vzájemných rolí až do současnosti. Text rovněž podává klíčové ideje, některá fakta a statistiky pojící se k současné diskuzi nad touto tematikou. V poslední části pak předkládám výukový plán daného tématu, vycházející z teoretické části. Kromě objasnění a deskripce normativního rámce se věnuji způsobům a metodám výuky.

Abstract:

The dissertation thesis deals with the phenomen of male role changes in Europe and Euro-atlantic space, respectively. It depicts family dynamics and the implications of the changes in mutual roles in the time period from 18th century to the present. It proceeds to describe the dynamics of social changes and gender positions in the family, and as a consequence male roles, too. The text brings key ideas related to the current discussion about the changing roles of men. Theoretical conclusions are subsequently used in the application part of the thesis.
