The species spectrum of weeds in corn and the possibilities of using herbicides

Abstract:

Cílem této závěrečné práce je zjistit, jaké je druhové spektrum plevelů v kukuřici na vybraných pozemcích Zemědělského družstva Mořina a jaká je účinnost vybraného herbicidu na plevelné rostliny. Plevelné rostliny byly odečítány po zasetí kukuřice před aplikací herbicidního přípravku a následně po aplikaci herbicidního přípravku na deseti náhodných čtvercích o straně 1 m. Ze zjištěných počtů plevelných rostlin byla vypočítána účinnost herbicidu na cílové rostliny celkem a také pro jednotlivé plevelné druhy zvlášť. Průměrná účinnost aplikace herbicidu Adengo do porostu kukuřice pro cílové plevele byla 40,72 %. Stoprocentní účinnost byla zjištěna na svlačec rolní, řepku olejku a heřmánkovec přímořský. Velmi vysoká účinnost byla zjištěna na rdesno blešník (99 %) a na opletku obecnou (96 %). Naopak nízká účinnost herbicidu Adengo byla zjištěna na pýr plazivý (38 %, odečteno na jednom pozemku) a ježatku kuří nohu (16 %, odečteno ze tří pozemků). Při preemergentní aplikaci herbicidu byla jeho průměrná účinnost při započítání cílových plevelných rostlin 26,7 %. Při postemergentní aplikaci herbicidu byla jeho průměrná účinnost na cílové rostliny 76,1 %.

Abstract:

The goal of this final thesis is to find out what the species spectrum of weeds in corn is on selected plots of land of the Mořina Agricultural Cooperative and what is the effectiveness of the selected herbicide on weed plants. Weed plants were counted after sowing corn, before the application of the herbicide preparation and subsequently after the application of the herbicide preparation in ten random squares with a side of 1 m. From the detected numbers of weed plants, the effectiveness of the herbicide on the target plants as a whole and for individual weed species separately was calculated. The average efficiency of Adengo herbicide application to the corn stand for target weeds was 40.72 %. One hundred percent effectiveness was found for Convolvulus arvensis, Brassica napus and Tripleurospermum maritimum. A very high efficiency was found on Polygonum lapathifolium (99%) and Fallopia convolvulus (96%). On the contrary, the low effectiveness of the herbicide Adengo was found on the Elytrigia repens (38%, subtracted from one plot) and Echinochloa crus-galli (16%, subtracted from three plots). Average efficiency for pre-emergence application, counting the target weed plants, was 26.7 %. In post-emergence application of the herbicide, there was 76.1 % effectiveness on the target weed plants.
