Abstract:
Diplomová práce se věnuje de-medikalizaci porodu skrze zkušenost žen rodících v nemocnici i mimo zdravotnickou instituci. Odpovídá na otázku aktivní participace žen na podobě poskytované péče v průběhu těhotenství a porodu, její limity v rámci dvou modelů péče. Zabývá se oprávněností nahlížet tyto modely dichotomicky. This thesis explores the de-medicalisation of pregnancy and childbirth through the experience of women giving birth in and out of hospital. It addresses the question of women's active participation in shaping the form of care provided, its limitations within two models and addresses the justification for viewing these models dichoto-mously.
