Cílem bakalářské práce je porovnávání dvou českých překladů díla "The Sign of Four" od Arthura Conana Doyla a následné vyhodnocení kvality každého z překladů. První překlad pochází z roku 1971 od J. Zábrany a druhý z roku 1994 od J. Zajíčka-Horského. Abstract:
The goal of the bachelor thesis is to compare two Czech translations of the work "The Sign of Four" by Arthur Conan Doyle and further evaluation of the quality of each of the translations. The first translation was made in 1971 by j. Zábrana and the second was made in 1994 by J. Zajíček-Horský.
