Moravian- Hungarian border in the Middle Ages . Military impact on the landscape and settlements.

Abstract:

V mé bakalářské diplomové práci se zabývám posuny hranic mezi Moravou, později součást Českého království, a Uherským královstvím. Pracoval jsem s programy Microsoft Access 2013 a Esri ArcGIS 10.3.1, ve kterých jsem vytvořil databáze dat, které jsem následně vyhodnotil. Práce se zaměřuje na postupné posuny hranic, výstavbu opevnění a kolonizaci území vymezeného Moravou, Olšavou a Váhem do období přelomu 13. a 14. století, kdy se dosavadní moravská provincie Lucko, začíná rozpadat a následný vpád Matouše Čáka v roku 1314 provincii roztříští.

Abstract:

I follow up the movements of boarder line between Moravia, in later period part of the Kingdom of Bohemia, and the Kingdom of Hungary, in my Bachelor´s thesis. I have made databases in programs Microsoft Access 2013 and Esri ArcGIS 10.3.1. Finally I have made a survey based on the databases. The survey is targeted at movements of boarders, building of fortifications and colonisation of the area defined by rivers Morava, Olšava and Vaag until turn of the 13th and 14th century, when the Moravian province Lucko has had begun to collapse. The followed invasion of Matthew Čák in 1314 finished the process.
