Směnečné právo vychází prakticky napříč celým světem z Ženevské konference z roku 1930 a dalo by se říci, že je unifikované. Proces aplikace směnečných práv však upraven jednotlivými státy, a jeho úprava se může značně lišit. Bill of exchange law basically across the globe arises from Geneva conference from 1930, and can be considered being unified. Process of the application of bill of exchange rights is regulated by countries themselves and therefore may significantly vary.
