Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na přímou volbu starostů a její případné zavedení v ČR. První část práce se zabývá současnou právní úpravou voleb do zastupitelstva obcí a pravomocemi starosty obce v ČR. Dále je popsán a porovnán průběh komunálních voleb ve vybraných evropských státech. This thesis focuses on the direct election of mayors and its possible introduction in the Czech Republic. The first part of the thesis deals with the current legal regulation of municipal elections and the powers of the mayor in the Czech Republic.
