Analysis of linkbuilding techniques in terms of their efficiency

Abstract:

Cílem práce je seznámit čtenáře s technikami získávání zpětných odkazů a jejich účinností. První část práce poskytuje ucelený teoretický základ definující základní pojmy z oblasti SEO, vyhledávačů a zpětných odkazů. Dále je čtenář seznámen s konkrétními technikami získávání zpětných odkazů. Tyto techniky jsou rozděleny do dvou skupin podle toho, zda k získávání odkazů využívají sociálních služeb a aktivity návštěvníků či nikoliv. Účinnost jednotlivých metod z hlediska získávání návštěvnosti a vlivu na pozice ve výsledcích vyhledávání je dále determinována experimentem, který je prezentován v praktické části. V závěru práce je provedeno shrnutí výhod a nevýhod jednotlivých technik, stejně jako obou skupin jako celků. Hlavním přínosem této práce je poskytnutí aktuálních empiricky ověřených informací o účinnosti jednotlivých metod získávání zpětných odkazů. Práce přispěje k prohloubení znalostí SEO specialistů i správců webových stránek, kterým pomůže k efektivnějšímu provádění jejich práce a zároveň k úspoře klientových prostředků.

Abstract:

The purpose of this thesis is to explain linkbuilding techniques and their efficiency. In the first part of the thesis, important terminology about SEO, search engines and backlinks is introduced to the reader. After that, various linkbuilding techniques are described and divided into two categories -- the techniques using social services as a tool for creating and sharing backlinks and the other, traditional ones. The efficiency of these techniques in the terms of their ability to attract new visitors and affect search engine result page position is verified in the next coming practical part. In the final part of the thesis the advantages and disadvantages of individual techniques are presented to the reader. The added value of this thesis is in providing verified information about efficiency of individual linkbuilding techniques. It will help SEO specialists and webmasters to perform their tasks with higher precision and lower costs.
