Babybox - alternative solution of endangered child situation?

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku babyboxu, především jako na jednu z alternativ řešení situace ohroženého dítěte. Práce je rozdělená na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část zahrnuje vymezení pojmů babybox a ohrožené dítě. Rovněž popisuje systém péče o ohrožené děti a poukazuje na jeho nedostatky. Dále pak čtenářům přibližuje fungování a historii babyboxů, a to nejen v České republice, ale i ve světě. Následně jsou uvedeny názory odpůrců a příznivců, ve kterých uvádí své pohledy na existenci babyboxů. V neposlední řadě také zmiňuji preventivní programy, které fungují v zahraničí. Ty umožňují vyhledávat ohrožené rodiny, děti a dále poskytují pomoc a podporu matkám v době těhotenství a po porodu, aby nedocházelo k odkládání dětí. Praktická část se zaměřuje na zjištění názoru odborné veřejnosti na babybox jako na alternativu řešení situace ohroženého dítěte pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Ten byl předložen pediatrům, gynekologům, dětským psychologům a sociálním pracovníkům. Dále se zabývá popisem předvýzkumu, výzkumných otázek, a především uvádí vyhodnocení získaných výsledků.

Abstract:

This final project is aimed at the problematic area of a "babybox" as the one of alternatives of solving the situation of endangered children. It is devided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part includes specifying the terms as a "babybox"and an "endangered child". It describes the system of daycare as well, and points out its defects. It also introduces the functioning and the history of a "babybox" to the readers, not only in the Czech Republic, but also all over the world. Consequently, there are some opinions of the opponents and supporters mentioned, in which they show their insight into the existence of the "babybox". Last but not least, I also mention preventative programmes operating abroad. These enable endangered families and children to be found and they also provide help for mothers in pregnancy and after childbirth, so that to prevent putting a child. The practical part is focused on the finding the viewpoint of the experts as an alternative for solving the situation of endangered children with the help of a survey made by questionnaires. It has been showed to pediatricians, gynecologists, psychologists and social workers. Furthermore, it deals with a description of the research and its questions, and it introduces particularly the analysis of the results gained by this research.
