Artistic decorations in St. Vitus and Wenceslas Church in Velké Němčice
Abstract:
Práce se soustředí na popis malířské a sochařské výzdoby interiéru kostela sv. Václava a Víta ve Velkých Němčicích se zaměřením na ikonografický popis a časové zařazení děl. Hlavní pozornost je věnována obrazu Bolesné Panny Marie od Januariuse Basilea. Současně se v práci objevuje umělecko-historická analýza vybraných děl a částečně také informace o životech a tvorbě zde působících umělců.
Abstract:
The bachelor paper concentrates on Saint Wenceslas‘ Church and Saint Vitus’ Church in Velké Němčice. The aim of this work is to describe decorating by paintings and sculptures in these churches. The work focuses on the iconographic description and the time classification of the art work. The main part is devoted to the Januariuse Basileas‘s picture of Saint Mary.
