Traffic Accident as a Crime

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá v současnosti nejčastějším problémem na pozemních komunikacích, čímž jsou dopravní nehody. V úvodu jsem zmínila loňské devadesátileté výročí založení „dopravní policie“, a také to jak se toto odvětví policie vyvíjelo. Po úvodu jsem se zaměřila podrobně na dopravní nehody a na statistiku nehodovosti u nás. V následující části jsou rozebrány nejčastější trestné činy páchané právě v souvislosti s dopravními nehodami a možnost páchání trestných činů i samotnými policisty. Závěr práce je zaměřen na změnu postihu v případě řízení vozidla bez řidičského oprávnění a stručná zmínka o působnosti nového bodového systému.

Abstract:

This thesis considers the most common problem on the roads – the traffic accidents. In the introduction, I mentioned the ninety one years anniversary of the traffic police from its establishment and also how police have developed until these days. I have focused on the accidents on roads and the accidents statistics in the Czech Republic. The next part deals with the most frequent crimes committed specifically in connection with traffic accidents and the possibility of committing crimes by police officers too. The conclusion of this work is aimed at changing the penalties for driving without a license and a brief mention of the new points system.
