MEHEDAHA Associations in the Context of Counter-culture of the 80's and 90's

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá sdružením MEHEDAHA, skupinou tvořící na pomezí domácího i plenérového loutkového divadla a happeningů. Nejaktivnější bylo mezi lety 1985 až 1995 a tomuto období se také text práce věnuje nejvíce. Jsou s ním nejtěsněji spojena jména výtvarníků Petra Nikla či Františka Petráka a nejčastěji působilo v Luhačovicích nebo Praze. Tvůrčích aktivit se v rámci sdružení účastnila řada dalších umělců, které mnohé písemné prameny vytěsňují. Díky získání nezpracovaného, nepublikovaného soukromého archivu Františka Petráka si práce skrze analýzy dílčích produkcí a kritiky dosavadních pramenů klade za cíl vytvořit podrobnější zprávu o působení sdružení a doplnit stávající literaturu.

Abstract:

The Thesis deals with MEHEDAHA Associations, Group that was forming on the border between home or plein air puppet theater and happenings. It was most active between 1985 and 1995 and Thesis deals with this period the most. The Associations MEHEDAHA is closely linked to the names of artists Petr Nikl and František Petrák most often worked in Luhačovice or Prague. Creative Activities within the Association participated in a number of other Artists that many written Sources displace. With the Acquisition of untreaded, unpublished private Archives of František Petrák, the Thesis through the analysis of partial Production and Critique of existing Sources aims to create a more detailed report on the operation of the association and complement the existing literature.
