Management of Postterm Pregnancy from the Midwife's Perspective

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je potermínová gravidita a její vedení z pohledu porodní asistentky. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí: teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na definici, incidenci, etiologii a rizika dané problematiky. Popisuje se zde prenatální péče, způsoby preindukce a indukce porodu a role porodní asistentky. V praktické části je uvedena zpracovaná kazuistika pacientky s indukovaným porodem pro hrozící potermínovou graviditu. V rámci analýzy ošetřovatelské péče jsou pacientce stanoveny ošetřovatelské diagnózy na základě zjištěných ošetřovatelských problémů. Péče je následně zhodnocena a jsou vyvozena doporučení pro praxi. Jako součást praktické části je přiložena informativní brožura pro těhotné ženy o potermínové graviditě. Cíli teoretické části jsou nashromáždit recentní odborné poznatky o potermínové graviditě a jejím vedení, a na tomto základě zpracovat přehledný text určený pro porodní asistentky a studenty porodní asistence, dále vyvodit doporučení pro praxi. Pro tvorbu praktické části bakalářské práce byl stanoven cíl zpracovat kazuistiku ženy s hrozící potermínovou graviditou, preindukcí a indukcí porodu.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the management of post-term pregnancy from the midwife's perspective. This thesis is divided into two parts: a theoretical and a practical one. The theoretical part focuses on definition, incidence, etiology and risks of these matters. There is a description of the prenatal care, forms of birth pre-induction and induction and role of a midwife. The practical part of the thesis describes the casuistry of a pregnant woman who had induced labour because of the impending post-term pregnancy. Nursing diagnoses are assigned in terms of an analysis of the nursing care. Subsequently, there is an evaluation of the nursing care and conclusions for practice. As a section of the practical part there is an attached informative brochure dealing with the post-term pregnancy for pregnant women. The aim of the theoretical part is to collect actual data about post-term pregnancy, and create a well arranged text for professionals. The aim of the practical part is to describe a case study of a pregnant women dealing with impending post-term pregnancy and subsequent birth pre-induction and induction.
