Bakalárska práca v teoretickej časti popisuje fyziológiu a patológiu štítnej žľazy so zameraním na Gravesovu-Basadowovu chorobu. Praktická časť tejto práce bola zameraná na porovnanie rutinnej metódy na stanovenie celkovej koncentrácie protilátok proti TSH receptoru – TRAK Human RIA (BRAHMS) s novou metódou na stanovenie stimulujúcich protilátok proti TSH receptoru – TSI IMMULITE 2000 (Siemens).
