Abstract:

The presented bachelor thesis is devoted to an introduction to sardinian literature and deals with the novel "La vedova scalza" by the Sardinian author Salvator Niffoi, which belongs to the literary movement of the Sardinian Literary Spring. In this the-sis, I focused on the main themes and problems afflicting Sardinia in the twentieth century and the way in which sardinian language is used in the analysed novel. The author uses this language to name things by the name that belongs to them so that its meanings are not lost in the translation and to bring sardinian culture and tradition closer to readers.

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce se věnuje úvodu do sardinské literatury a dílu “La vedova scalza” od sardského autora Salvatora Niffoie, který patří k literárnímu směru Sardinského literárního jara. V této práci jsem se zaměřila na hlavní témata a problémy sužující Sardinii ve dvacátém století a na způsob použití sardštiny v rozebíraném díle. Salvatore Niffoi totiž využívá tohoto jazyka k pojmenování věcí jménem, které jím přísluší, tak, aby jejich význam nebyl ztracen v překladu, a také k přiblížení sardské kultury a tradice čtenářům.
