Regeneration of calamity clear-cut areas using lower numbers of planted selected woody species

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá obnovou kalamitních holin při využití nižších hektarových počtů vybraných lesních dřevin. Sledování probíhalo na dvou výzkumných plochách. Na plochách byly sledovány tři odlišné hustoty a spony u každé z dřevin. Plochy byly zalesněny v roce 2021. Na výzkumné ploše Větrný Jeníkov byly sledovány dřeviny javor mléč (Acer platanoides L.), smrk ztepilý (Picea abies L. Karst.) a borovice lesní (Pinus sylvestris L.). U varianty JV1 byl použit spon 1,3 x 1,3 m a počet vysázených sazenic byl 5 913 ks/ha. U varianty JV2 byl použit spon 1,3 x 2 m a počet vysázených sazenic byl 3 846 ks/ha. U varianty JV3 byl použit spon 2 x 2 m a počet vysázených sazenic byl 2 500 ks/ha. U varianty BO1 byl použit spon 1,6 x 1,6 m a počet vysázených sazenic byl 3 906 ks/ha. U varianty BO2 byl použit spon 1,1 x 1,1 m a počet vysázených sazenic byl 8 263 ks/ha. U varianty BO3 byl použit spon 1,4 x 1,4 m a počet vysázených sazenic byl 4 357 ks/ha. U varianty SM1 byl použit spon 2 x 2,7 m a počet vysázených sazenic byl 1 851 ks/ha. U varianty SM2 byl použit spon 3 x 3 m a počet vysázených sazenic byl 1 100 ks/ha. U varianty SM3 byl použit spon 1,8 x 1,8 m a počet vysázených sazenic byl 3 083 ks/ha. Na výzkumné ploše Budišov byly sledovány dřeviny javor mléč (Acer platanoides L.) a olše lepkavá (Alnus glutinosa L.). U varianty JV1 byl použit spon 2 x 2 m a počet vysázených sazenic byl 2 500 ks/ha. U varianty JV2 byl použit spon 2 x 1,4 m a počet vysázených sazenic byl 3 600 ks/ha. U varianty JV3 byl použit spon 1,65 x 1 m a počet vysázených sazenic byl 6 000 ks/ha. U varianty OL1 byl použit spon 3 x 2 m a počet vysázených sazenic byl 1 666 ks/ha. U varianty OL2 byl použit spon 2 x 2 m a počet vysázených sazenic byl 2 500 ks/ha. U varianty OL3 byl použit spon 2 x 1,5 a počet vysázených sazenic byl 4 000 ks/ha. Měření probíhalo ve třech letech po sobě, a to vždy na podzim po ukončení vegetačního období. Byly sledovány tyto parametry: délka nadzemní části, výškový přírůst, tloušťka kořenového krčku, počet větví, délka nejdelší větve, tvar kmene, délka a šířka asimilačního aparátu, vitalita, poškození abiotickými a biotickými činiteli, ztráty, stav zabuřenění a výskyt náletu. V letech měření 2021 a 2022 nebyl zjištěn u žádné z měřených variant vliv hustoty na odrůstání kultur, zabuřenění nebo výskyt náletu. Vzniklé rozdíly mezi variantami byly způsobeny heterogenitou prostředí. V roce 2023 bylo zjištěno na základě zhodnocení všech sledovaných veličin, že na výzkumné ploše Větrný Jeníkov odrůstá nejlépe borovice lesní a na výzkumné ploše Budišov nejlépe odrůstá olše lepkavá. Na výzkumné ploše Větrný Jeníkov nejlépe odrůstal javor při hustotě 2 500 ks/ha, borovice nejlépe odrůstala při hustotách 8 263 ks/ha a 3 906 ks/ha a smrk nejlépe odrůstal při hustotách 1 851 ks/ha a3 083 ks/ha. Na ploše Větrný Jeníkov byl průměrný výskyt náletu semenáčku na 10 m2 13 kusů. Na výzkumné ploše Budišov nejlépe odrůstal javor při hustotách 3 600 ks/ha a 2 500 ks/ha a olše nejlépe odrůstala při hustotách 2 500 ks/ha a 1 666 ks/ha. Na ploše Budišov se nálet semenáčku nevyskytoval.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the restoration of disaster clearings using lower hectare numbers of selected forest species. Monitoring took place in two research areas. Three different densities and spacings of each tree species were monitored on the area. The areas were afforestationed in 2021. In the Větrný Jeníkov research area, the woody species Norway maple (Acer platanoides L.), Norway spruce (Picea abies L. Karst.) and Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) were monitored. For the JV1 variant, a cluster of 1,3 x 1,3 m was used and the number of planted seedlings was 5 913 pcs/ha. For the JV2 variant, a cluster of 1,3 x 2 m was used and the number of planted seedlings was 3 846 pcs/ha. For the JV3 variant, a 2 x 2 m cluster was used and the number of planted seedlings was 2 500 pcs/ha. For variant BO1, a cluster of 1,6 x 1,6 m was used and the number of planted seedlings was 3 906 pcs/ha. For variant BO2, a cluster of 1,1 x 1,1 m was used and the number of planted seedlings was 8 263 pcs/ha. For variant BO3, a cluster of 1,4 x 1,4 m was used and the number of planted seedlings was 4 357 pcs/ha. For variant SM1, a cluster of 2 x 2,7 m was used and the number of planted seedlings was 1 851 pcs/ha. For the SM2 variant, a 3 x 3 m cluster was used and the number of planted seedlings was 1 100 pcs/ha. For the SM3 variant, a cluster of 1,8 x 1,8 m was used and the number of planted seedlings was 3 083 pcs/ha. In the research area of Budišov, the woody species Norway maple (Acer platanoides L.) and Black alder (Alnus glutinosa L.) were monitored. For the JV1 variant, a 2 x 2 m cluster was used and the number of planted seedlings was 2 500 pcs/ha. For the JV2 variant, a 2 x 1,4 m clluster was used and the number of planted seedlings was 3 600 pcs/ha. For the JV3 variant, a cluster of 1,65 x 1 m was used and the number of seedlings planted was 6 000 pcs/ha. For variant OL1, a cluster of 3 x 2 m was used and the number of planted seedlings was 1 666 pcs/ha. For the OL2 variant, a 2 x 2 m cluster was used and the number of planted seedlings was 2 500 pcs/ha. For the OL3 variant, a 2 x 1,5 cluster was used and the number of planted seedlings was 4 000 pcs/ha.Measurement took place in three consecutive years, always in autumn after the end of the growing season. The following parameters were monitored: length of the above-ground part, height increase, thickness of the root neck, number of branches, length of the longest branch, shape of the trunk, length and width of the assimilation apparatus, vitality, damage by abiotic and biotic factors, losses, the state of weeding and the occurrence of infestation. In the measurement years 2021 and 2022, none of the measured variants had an effect of density on the growth of cultures, weed infestation or the occurrence of infestation. The resulting differences between the variants were due to the heterogeneity of the environment. In 2023, based on the evaluation of all monitored values, it was found that Scots pine grows best in the Větrný Jeníkov research area and sticky alder grows best in the Budišov research area. In the Větrný Jeníkov research area, maple grew best at a density of 2 500 pcs/ha, pine grew best at densities of 8 263 pcs/ha and 3 906 pcs/ha, and spruce grew best at densities of 1 851 pcs/ha and 3 083 pcs/ha. In the area of Větrný Jeníkov, the average occurrence of seedling raid per 10 m2 was 13 pieces. In the Budišov research area, maple grew best at densities of 3 600 pcs/ha and 2 500 pcs/ha, and alder grew best at densities of 2 500 pcs/ha and 1 666 pcs/ha. In the Budišov area, there was no seedling raid.
